It is well known fact, that health which plays a pivotal role in the development of an individual, a family and nation as a whole.
In a developing country like ours most of the existing health care institutions are not able to meet the patient requirements within their reach. This can be done by providing health care at an affordable cost.
In general, the existing Govt. health care delivery system serve only 10 percent of the total population, rest of them depend on private and other alternative system of medicine including home remedy.
Health empowerment is seen as an avenue for reducing differences and difficulties like sickness, gender inequalities, population explosion, Illiteracy and other socio health problems intruding the growth of our country.
Dr. P. Saravanan, the founder is still remember his Grandmother who suffered from advanced stage of cancer due to lack of awareness and economic constraints not enabling her to get due medical care. This was a turning point in his life, who as a secondary grade student wanted to become a doctor and treat poor patients in a scientific manner at an affordable cost.
And later as an oncologist and Social activist wanted to extend the services to poor and needy not only in the field of health and health related activities but also to live for the cause of poor through innovative patient friendly projects supported by like minded people.
